NCTH, a UAE – based specialist in hospitality service acquisition and management, has awarded cleaning chemical supply contracts to different suppliers in the UAE. The contacts are for the entire portfolio of all of NCTH’s managed and serviced hotels across the country.
According to reports from NCTH, the company has commissioned Technical Chemical Laboratories (TCL) to supply it with all the laundry and housekeeping chemicals; Johnson Diversey will provide all the chemicals used in the kitchen applications and Quill Hygiene will provide chemicals used for all other housekeeping purposes.
Details on the value of the contracts would not be revealed. However, according to NCTH central purchasing manager, these contracts were signed for one year and will go into effect by 1st of April 2011; according to NCTH central purchasing manager. Hotels under NCTH’s umbrella include InterContinental Hotel Abu Dhabi, Danat Jebel Dhanna Resort, Al Raha Beach Hotel, Tilal Liwa Hotel , Dhafra Beach Hotel , Danat Al Ain Resort and Sands Hotel.
