Dulsco ‘s newly installed automated static compactors to debut during WFES 2010

 

 

The Waste Management Division of Dulsco Abu Dhabi, has completed the installation of static compactors with bin lifters at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Centre (ADNEC). The units include an automatic alert function that informs the Dulsco Traffic Control Room whenever a unit is full and needs to be replaced. They are also equipped with advanced safety features.

Dulsco Abu Dhabi has also installed recycling bins made from recycled materials at various points around ADNEC. Recycling stations have also been placed throughout the venue as well as at the ADNEC Marina located opposite the grandstand.

Dulsco Abu Dhabi works very closely with the ADNEC Operations Team to ensure that recycling initiatives are always kept at the forefront.

"ADNEC launched its environmental strategy "Re-use, Reduce, Recycle" two years ago and since then we have continued to undertake a number of initiatives to reduce our impact on the environment. The ongoing investments we are making in this area showcase our commitment to supporting the sustainability agenda of the Abu Dhabi Government," said Humaid Al Dhaheri, Finance & HR Director, Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company.

In addition to the ISO 9001 and 14001 certification, Dulsco Abu Dhabi is in the process of being certified to OHSAS 18001, thus having all the major standards covered under an Integrated Management System.
