Emrill Wins BICSc Top International Trainer Award

An employee of the UAE’s leading facilities management company, Andrea Yoko at Emrill has picked up a global award at a ceremony in the UK.

Yoko who is head of soft services at the Emrill Centre of Excellence in Dubai has been awarded one of the top awards in the international cleaning industry at the BICSc Awards 2017 ceremony held recently at Whittlebury Hall, Towcester in the UK.       
 
The British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) is the largest independent, professional and educational body within the UK cleaning industry, with over 15,000 individual and corporate members located in the UK and overseas. BICSc’s aim is to raise the standards of education and build awareness of the cleaning industry through professional standards and accredited training.
 
The Colin Hasson International Award is presented to an individual or organisation that has promoted BICSc training and standards globally.
 
Attending the gala awards ceremony Andrea Yoko commented, “I am deeply honoured and privileged to be awarded the Colin Hasson International Award. The BICSc training already delivered has played an important role in the development of our business and career development of many personnel within Emrill.”
 
Yoko added, “Our commitment to BICSc training will continue to highlight the importance of maintaining high standards in the cleaning industry and raise the profile of cleaning within the UAE facilities management industry. It will further drive our efforts to achieve a higher level of performance for our clients.”
 
Alex Davies, Emrill’s managing director who also attended the awards ceremony commented, “We are so proud of Andrea for winning this internationally recognised award and thank her for everything she has done for Emrill and the housekeeping profession in the UAE. It is an honoured testimony to the progress made within Emrill to drive forward the development of the UAE facilities management sector.”
