Emrill has been awarded a contract by Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) - the world’s largest healthcare free zone. Under the new contract extending till the end of 2019, Emrill will deliver IFM services, including housekeeping and MEP as well as preventive maintenance in line with the free zone’s regulations. The company will maintain DHCC-owned buildings and the free zone’s infrastructure.
According to DHCC, Emrill was awarded the contract, which covers both DHCC free zone areas, based on its market expertise and customer-focused approach. Four million square-foot of Phase l in Oud Metha is dedicated to healthcare and medical education. Phase II is focused on wellness, occupying 19 million square feet in Al Jaddaf, overlooking the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary and the widest stretch of the Dubai Water Canal.
Alex Davies, Managing Director, Emrill’s IFM business, said, “Identifying the healthcare sector as a significant growth area, Emrill has developed the specialist capability necessary to deliver world-class IFM services within the sector.” While Emrill provides IFM services in common areas, DHCC’s clinical and non-clinical partners have the responsibility for maintaining standards within their facilities.
